Why I'm building this.
I spent ten years inside the music industry in Latin America. Engineering records, running label operations, putting on shows. I watched artists with real talent quit. Not because they weren't good enough, but because nobody nearby ever found them. The industry kept telling them to go viral or go home. I never believed that. Your career doesn't start in Los Angeles or inside an algorithm. It starts in your city, in one room, with a few hundred people who would lose it for your music if they only knew you existed. Local.Media is the thing I wish those artists had had.
